![]() So before I start my projects for my MA I wanted to practice this technique. ![]() ![]() Artists start out directly in Zbrush and sculpt the character then retopologize the character and bake the information down into a new unwrapped low poly. However from looking through different reading materials and talking to professionals in industry this isn’t how it’s done anymore. From there exporting out the new low poly into Maya and editing it from there. Then taking this unwrapped mesh into Zbrush to add the high level of detail to the piece. My normal workflow for creating 3D models is start of by creating a low poly mesh in Maya, Unwrapping it using a program like Roadkill or Headus. I wanted to practice my Zbrush work as I haven’t used it over the past few months.
